TOUCH.TOWN – SAFETY & COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Standards for Customers, Massage Providers and Businesses

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Safety & Community Standards (“Standards”) apply to all users of the Touch.Town platform, including:

  • Customers
  • individual Massage Providers
  • massage businesses
  • employees
  • contractors
  • subcontractors and
  • any person providing or receiving a service arranged through Touch.Town.

Touch.Town is a technology marketplace that connects independent massage Providers with Customers.

These Standards are designed to help create a respectful, lawful and safer marketplace for everyone.

By creating an account, listing a service, making a booking, providing a service or otherwise using Touch.Town, you agree to comply with these Standards.

1. Touch.Town Is an Adults-Only Platform

Touch.Town is strictly for persons aged 18 years or older.

1.1 Customers

Customers must be at least 18 years old to:

  • create a Touch.Town account
  • search for Providers
  • communicate with Providers
  • make a booking
  • attend or receive a booked massage service or
  • otherwise use Touch.Town.

1.2 Individual Providers

Every individual massage Provider must be at least 18 years old.

1.3 Massage Businesses

Where a massage business has multiple workers, every person providing a service through Touch.Town must be at least 18 years old.

This includes:

  • owners
  • employees
  • contractors
  • subcontractors
  • casual workers
  • temporary workers and
  • any other person attending a booking.

1.4 No Under-18 Participation

A person under 18 must not:

  • provide massage services through Touch.Town
  • book massage services through Touch.Town
  • use another person’s account
  • attend a booking as the person receiving the service or
  • be represented as a Provider.

Touch.Town may suspend or permanently remove an account where there is reason to believe the account involves a person under 18.

Touch.Town may request proof of age or identity.

2. Lawful Massage and Wellness Services Only

Touch.Town is intended solely for lawful massage and wellness services.

Providers must only advertise lawful services that they are legally permitted and appropriately competent to provide.

Customers must only request lawful massage and wellness services.

Touch.Town must not be used for:

  • prostitution
  • sexual services
  • escort services
  • sexual acts
  • unlawful sexual activity
  • trafficking
  • exploitation
  • services involving minors
  • illegal drugs
  • criminal activity or
  • any service prohibited by law.

A massage booking must not be used as a cover or disguise for an illegal service.

3. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Requests or Conduct

Touch.Town does not permit Customers or Providers to use the Platform to arrange sexual services.

Customers must not:

  • ask for sexual services
  • ask for sexual touching
  • request sexual acts
  • ask a Provider to remove clothing unnecessarily
  • deliberately expose themselves inappropriately
  • touch a Provider sexually
  • offer extra payment for sexual services
  • pressure a Provider to perform an act outside the booked massage or
  • send sexual or explicit messages through Touch.Town.

Providers must not:

  • advertise sexual services
  • offer sexual services
  • suggest that sexual services are available
  • touch a customer sexually
  • deliberately exceed the agreed massage boundaries
  • request sexual activity
  • use suggestive advertising to disguise unlawful services or
  • pressure a customer into any activity outside the agreed massage service.

A serious breach may result in immediate and permanent account removal.

4. Consent Is Required at All Times

Consent is fundamental to every massage service.

A Provider must obtain the Customer’s consent before commencing a massage.

Consent should relate to:

  • the type of massage
  • areas of the body to be massaged
  • pressure and technique where relevant
  • use of oils, creams or products
  • draping arrangements
  • service duration and
  • any other relevant aspect of the massage.

Consent to one part of the body does not automatically mean consent to another part.

A Customer may change or withdraw consent at any time.

If a customer asks the Provider to:

  • stop
  • reduce pressure
  • avoid a body area
  • adjust positioning or
  • end the massage,

the Provider must respect the request.

Providers also have the right to refuse or stop any service they consider unsafe, unlawful or inappropriate.

5. Professional Boundaries

Providers and Customers must maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

Providers must:

  • behave professionally
  • respect privacy
  • respect personal space
  • avoid inappropriate comments
  • avoid sexual behaviour
  • avoid unnecessary physical contact outside the massage
  • use appropriate draping where relevant and
  • respect the Customer’s dignity.

Customers must:

  • treat Providers respectfully
  • avoid inappropriate touching
  • avoid sexual comments
  • avoid pressuring a Provider
  • remain appropriately dressed except as reasonably required for the massage
  • follow reasonable instructions relating to positioning and draping and
  • respect the Provider’s professional boundaries.

6. Either Person May End an Appointment

A Customer or Provider may immediately end an appointment if they reasonably believe:

  • they are unsafe
  • consent has been withdrawn
  • boundaries have been crossed
  • the other person isbehaving aggressively
  • sexual services are being requested or offered
  • illegal activity is taking place
  • the location is unsafe
  • the other person is excessively intoxicated
  • harassment is occurring
  • threats are made or
  • continuing the appointment would create an unreasonable safety risk.

No Touch.Town user is required to remain at an appointment where they reasonably fear for their safety.

7. Respectful Behaviour

All users must behave respectfully.

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • verbal abuse
  • threats
  • intimidation
  • bullying
  • harassment
  • stalking
  • aggressive behaviour
  • discriminatory abuse
  • deliberately offensive conduct
  • unwanted repeated contact
  • coercion
  • blackmail
  • extortion or
  • attempts to frighten another user.

Disagreements about:

  • price
  • cancellation
  • service quality
  • lateness
  • reviews or
  • payment

must be handled without threats or harassment.

8. Violence and Weapons

Violence is strictly prohibited.

Users must not:

  • assault another person
  • threaten physical violence
  • damage property
  • use or threaten to use a weapon
  • deliberately restrain another person or
  • physically prevent another person from leaving.

Where there is an immediate safety threat, the affected person should leave if it is safe to do so and contact the appropriate emergency service.

Touch.Town is not an emergency service.

9. Drugs and Intoxication

Users must not create an unsafe appointment through intoxication.

A Provider may refuse or end a service if a customer appears significantly affected by:

  • alcohol
  • illegal drugs
  • medication
  • another substance or
  • behaviour that makes the service unsafe.

Customers may also refuse to proceed if a Provider appears intoxicated or impaired.

Illegal drugs must not be offered, supplied, requested or consumed as part of a Touch.Town booking.

10. Provider Safety at Mobile Appointments

Providers offering mobile services are responsible for making reasonable decisions about their personal safety.

Providers should consider precautions such as:

  • confirming the Customer’s booking details
  • checking the appointment address
  • keeping access to a charged phone
  • telling a trusted person where they are going
  • maintaining transport arrangements
  • assessing the location before entering
  • leaving if the environment appears unsafe
  • avoiding unnecessary disclosure of personal information and
  • reporting serious incidents.

A Provider may decline or cancel a mobile booking where there is a reasonable safety concern.

11. Customer Responsibilities for Mobile Massage

Customers requesting a Provider to attend their home, hotel, workplace or another location must provide a reasonably safe environment.

The Customer must:

  • provide an accurate address
  • provide reasonable access instructions
  • allow lawful access to the location
  • ensure sufficient space for the service
  • maintain reasonable cleanliness
  • provide reasonable lighting
  • provide a reasonably private environment
  • keep aggressive animals safely controlled
  • ensure other people present do not threaten or harass the Provider
  • disclose known safety issues that may affect the Provider and
  • avoid illegal activity at the appointment location.

The Provider may leave if these conditions are not met.

12. Animals

Customers must take reasonable precautions with animals at mobile-service locations.

Animals that are:

  • aggressive
  • uncontrolled
  • highly disruptive or
  • likely to create a safety risk

should be safely separated from the massage area.

A Provider may refuse to enter or continue an appointment where an animal creates a reasonable safety concern.

13. Other People at the Appointment

Customers must consider the impact of other people present at a mobile appointment.

Customers are responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure other persons do not:

  • harass the Provider
  • threaten the Provider
  • interfere with the service
  • behave sexually toward the Provider
  • engage in illegal conduct or
  • create an unsafe environment.

Providers may leave an appointment where another person creates a safety risk.

14. Provider Premises

Providers offering services from their own premises are responsible for maintaining a reasonably safe, lawful and suitable environment.

Provider premises should be:

  • reasonably clean
  • hygienic
  • appropriately private
  • reasonably maintained
  • suitable for massage
  • free from obvious hazards

  • insurance or
  • other authorisations.

Touch.Town does not certify or guarantee Provider premises unless expressly stated.

  • clean equipment
  • appropriate hand hygiene
  • safe oils and products
  • reasonable cleaning between Customers
  • appropriate disposal of waste and
  • infection-control practices required by law.

Providers should not knowingly provide a service where doing so would create an unreasonable hygiene or health risk.

16. Safe Equipment

Providers are responsible for the safety of their massage equipment.

Equipment should be:

  • suitable for its intended use

  • towels
  • heating equipment
  • oils
  • creams

A Provider must not:

  • claim a qualification they do not have
  • misrepresent their experience
  • falsely claim registration
  • falsely claim professional membership
  • impersonate another therapist
  • use another person’s credentials or
  • advertise specialist services outside their competence.

Where a service legally requires a qualification, registration, licence or other authority, the Provider is responsible for obtaining and maintaining it.

18. Insurance

Providers are responsible for obtaining insurance appropriate to their business and activities.

Depending on the circumstances, appropriate insurance may include:

  • public liability insurance
  • professional indemnity insurance
  • product liability insurance
  • workers compensation insurance
  • business insurance and
  • vehicle insurance suitable for business travel.

Touch.Town does not provide insurance for independent Providers.

19. Health and Medical Considerations

Providers should act within the limits of their training and competence.

Providers must not make misleading medical claims.

Customers should disclose information reasonably relevant to their massage, including where appropriate:

  • injuries
  • medical conditions
  • pregnancy
  • allergies
  • surgery
  • skin conditions
  • pain
  • sensitivities and
  • medication-related concerns.

Providers should not diagnose or treat medical conditions unless they are appropriately qualified and legally entitled to do so.

Customers should seek appropriate health advice where necessary.

Users must respect each other’s privacy.

Providers must not:

  • photograph Customers without permission

  • secretly record Providers where doing so is unlawful

  • share sensitive information for harassment or retaliation.

21. Photos and Recording

Photography or recording during an appointment should only occur where:

  • all relevant people consent and
  • the activity is lawful.

Users should never assume that consent to a massage also means consent to photography, video or audio recording.

Consent to recording may be withdrawn where legally permitted.

22. Personal Information

Users must only use personal information obtained through Touch.Town for legitimate purposes associated with:

  • booking
  • communication
  • service delivery

  • sexual requests
  • explicit sexual content
  • unwanted repeated messages

  • illegal offers
  • spam
  • scams
  • malicious links or
  • content intended to intimidate another user.

Touch.Town may restrict or remove messaging access where misuse occurs.

26. No Harassment After a Booking

A completed or cancelled booking does not give either person the right to continue contacting the other person against their wishes.

If a customer or Provider asks another user to stop contacting them, that request should be respected unless further communication is reasonably required for:

  • payment
  • a legitimate complaint
  • legal requirements or
  • another genuine unresolved booking issue.

27. Accurate Profiles

Users must provide truthful information.

Providers must not create profiles containing:

  • false names
  • false ages
  • stolen photos

  • misleading claims.

Customers must not create accounts using:

  • false age information

  • information intended to deceive Providers.

28. Profile Photographs

Users must comply with applicable anti-discrimination laws.

Touch.Town does not permit unlawful discrimination or abusive conduct based on protected attributes.

Users must not direct hateful, degrading or threatening conduct toward another person.

Providers may have legitimate professional or safety reasons for declining particular services, provided their conduct complies with applicable law.

Knowingly making a false report to harm another person may itself breach these Standards.

35. Blocking Users

Touch.Town may provide blocking tools.

A Customer or Provider may block another user where they do not wish to receive further contact.

Blocking may prevent:

  • messages
  • bookings
  • profile interaction or
  • other Platform contact.

Touch.Town may independently restrict accounts where there is a safety concern.

36. Emergency Situations

Touch.Town is not an emergency service.

If a person believes there is an immediate threat to life or safety, they should contact the appropriate emergency service rather than relying only on a report to Touch.Town.

Where safe and lawful, users should remove themselves from dangerous situations.

37. Law Enforcement and Authorities

Touch.Town may preserve or disclose information where permitted or required by law.

Touch.Town may cooperate with:

  • police
  • courts
  • regulators
  • health complaints bodies

Temporary action may be taken where allegations involve:

  • violence
  • sexual misconduct
  • underage use
  • stalking
  • threats
  • fraud
  • serious privacy breaches
  • unlawful services or
  • another significant safety concern.

A temporary suspension does not necessarily mean Touch.Town has determined that misconduct occurred.

40. Permanent Removal

Touch.Town may permanently remove a user for serious or repeated breaches.

Conduct that may justify permanent removal includes:

  • sexual assault
  • violence
  • threats of serious violence
  • services involving minors
  • knowingly permitting an under-18 Provider
  • prostitution or illegal sexual services
  • stalking
  • serious harassment
  • trafficking or exploitation

  • deliberate false identity
  • repeated safety breaches
  • serious privacy violations or
  • repeated attempts to evade suspension.

41. Circumventing Suspension

A person whose account has been suspended or removed must not create another account to avoid the restriction.

Touch.Town may remove additional accounts reasonably believed to be connected with an excluded user.

42. Complaints About Providers

Customers should first raise ordinary service concerns with the Provider where appropriate and safe.

Customers may also report Providers to Touch.Town for Platform-related concerns.

Depending on the circumstances, Customers may also have rights to contact:

  • police
  • consumer protection authorities
  • health complaints organisations
  • insurers
  • professional associations or
  • other regulators.

  • unlawful requests
  • inappropriate conduct
  • lack of suitable facilities
  • inability to safely perform the requested service
  • concerns outside the Provider’s competence
  • significant intoxication
  • abusive behaviour or
  • another reasonable professional concern.

Any refusal must comply with applicable law.

45. Customer Right Not to Proceed

Customers may choose not to proceed where they have a genuine concern regarding:

  • Provider identity
  • age
  • safety
  • premises
  • hygiene
  • conduct
  • service description
  • unexpected pricing
  • inappropriate behaviour or
  • another significant issue.

Customers should notify the Provider where reasonably possible and may report serious concerns to Touch.Town.

46. Personal Safety Comes First

Nothing in Touch.Town’s booking, cancellation or review system requires a user to remain in a situation they reasonably consider unsafe.

Safety should take priority over completing a booking.

Any related payment or cancellation issue can be addressed separately after the immediate safety concern has ended.

47. Community Responsibility

Touch.Town works best when Customers and Providers:

  • communicate clearly
  • arrive on time
  • respect boundaries
  • keep profile information accurate
  • disclose relevant service information
  • respect privacy
  • behave professionally
  • resolve ordinary disagreements calmly and
  • report serious safety concerns responsibly.

48. Touch.Town Is a Marketplace, Not the Service Provider

Touch.Town provides technology that helps independent Providers and Customers find and communicate with each other.

Touch.Town does not:

  • perform massages
  • supervise massages
  • employ Providers
  • control Provider premises
  • attend mobile bookings
  • guarantee the behaviour of Customers or Providers
  • guarantee Provider qualifications unless expressly verified
  • guarantee insurance coverage
  • guarantee service outcomes or
  • accept responsibility for independent conduct that cannot reasonably be controlled by the Platform, subject to applicable law.

Providers remain responsible for their businesses and services.

Customers remain responsible for their own conduct and reasonable decisions regarding Provider selection.

Nothing in these Standards excludes any legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

49. Relationship With Other Touch.Town Terms

These Standards form part of the rules governing use of Touch.Town and should be read together with:

  • Touch.Town Customer / User Agreement
  • Touch.Town Service Provider Agreement
  • Touch.Town Privacy Policy
  • Touch.Town Terms of Use and
  • any other Platform rules displayed to users.

If there is an inconsistency, applicable law will prevail and Touch.Town may specify which Platform document takes priority.

50. Changes to These Standards

Touch.Town may update these Safety & Community Standards from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through:

  • the Touch.Town Platform
  • email
  • account notifications or
  • another reasonable method.

Continued use after updated Standards take effect constitutes acceptance, subject to applicable law.
